Improve Your Nutrition, Improve Your Life

Feeling lethargic? Struggling with the afternoon crash? It may not exactly be true that you are what you eat, but your mood and energy are definitely affected by your eating habits.

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be hard, and the benefits far outweigh the costs. A healthy diet can help prevent diabetes, heart disease and even certain cancers. Try these simple tips to plan, enjoy, and stick to a healthy diet:

  • Make a list before going to the store, so you only buy the healthy items you need.
  • Meal prep healthy meals and snacks in advance so that time doesn’t become an excuse.
  • Add different colors to your plate and make it half vegetables. Leafy greens, orange and red peppers, fresh herbs – the possibilities are endless!
  • Check labels and avoid high amounts of sodium, added sugar, saturated and trans fats.
