If we’ve learned anything from the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s the importance of being resilient. Resilience helps us face and overcome challenges. It helps you cope, adjust, and move forward. During an April RISE session, we learned resilience is a skill we can learn. Catch the session here!
As a follow-up to our discussion, here are two assessments that can help you discover and build on your strengths:
1. Via Institute on Character The VIA Survey of Character Strengths is a self-assessment that takes less than 15 minutes and helps you understand your best qualities. VIA Reports provide analysis of your results, including tips to apply your strengths to find greater wellbeing.
2. Think 2 Perform: This interactive approach allows you to identify the values that fit you. It sets the stage for behaviors and performance you can adopt that closely align with your ideal self.
We’ve also learned how technology has made it easier for us to feel connected – and easier for us to become overworked. Sometimes we must give ourselves permission to take a break and to give our minds a rest.
Many shared how feeling overworked is negatively impacting you. We’ve researched best practices to combat that feeling for WellWithin’s June COVID-19 article, click here to review. In the meantime, we need to let some things go.Â
