October – Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Each October, as a nation, we recognize Domestic Violence and Prevention. This month signifies bringing awareness to our communities, celebrating survivors, and being a voice for those we have lost.

Domestic abuse can happen to anyone: 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men are abused. This abuse can be emotional, physical, online, verbal or financial.

No one deserves to be abused, we hope this October you take the opportunity to learn more about getting help yourself or for someone you know.
