‘Tis the Season of…Spending?

Don’t buy into the hype. Instead spend this month planning financially for 2021.

We’re ALL ready for 2021. Let’s prepare for a better year. Boost your savings, protect your investments and improve your finances with these 15 tips.

Feeling behind?

If you’ve dug yourself into a hole financially, it’s not too late to stop digging! Start with these simple tips to get ahead during the last month of the year:

  • Check your credit score. Did you know you can order one free report from each of the three national credit reporting agencies once a year? Check out annualcreditreport.com.
  • Tackle credit card debt. You may be paying up to 30% interest on your credit card debt. That’s money you could be saving! Make it your goal to bring that balance to zero every month or work these ideas to get there.
  • Avoid surprises. Tax bills, medical expenses, unemployment can seem to come out of nowhere. Savings help us feel prepared. Make it your goal to set aside money monthly for an emergency fund.
  • Start small. That daily cup of coffee could be costing you $1,200 a year! When it comes to getting ahead financially, every little bit counts.
