When you need a little happiness try my new go to, The Hallmark Crown Store.
It was last Monday when I was not feeling well…tired, stressed, and anxious. I do not get the chance to reset on weekends as they have just as much activity going on as the work week. I wanted to pick a very special card for my 5-year wedding anniversary, instead of rummaging through the card section at my local grocery like I usually do. I parked and proceeded to enter the Hallmark Crown store.
As I opened the door to the store, I initially noticed the Christmas decorations which I thought was early but after all it was October 15th. Thinking to myself that Santa’s elves had been busy early and realizing that it was okay. At least someone else had a head start knowing that it hasn’t been me lately. My eyes went from the immediate display in front to the right side of the store where a huge display of ornaments were presented. On that wall is every single magical moment all depicted in an exclusive Hallmark Keepsake ornament. How epic, I thought.
The feeling of joy overwhelmed me and a huge smile beamed upon my face. I felt my face glowing. Several Keepsake ornaments there brought to the fore front of my mind a sweet precious memory, especially the 2018 Holiday Barbie Doll ornament. My daughter received several when she was a small child. The family tradition was to buy each of my three children an ornament for them to place on our tree that they would eventually place on their own tree.
When the clerk came over and asked me if she could help me find anything. I replied, “I have found it here at this display and I feel a lot better now than when I came in.” I am going to reestablish that tradition in 2019 for my 3 adult children. Perhaps you can relate to my experience.
