Fun is always in Season! As the coronavirus pandemic stretches through the winter, fun requires a little more creativity than usual. Even as we’re social distancing and spending more time at home, there are plenty of wonderful ways to enjoy the season.
Enjoy the outdoors (socially distanced)
- Make a snowman or a snow fort
- Take a wintry hike
- Try ice skating

- Load up a cup of cocoa with whipped cream or marshmallows

- Simmer a pot of homemade soup

- Make a birdfeeder out of pinecones, peanut butter, and birdseed—and place it near your window to enjoy watching wildlife feast
- Create homemade cards (hint Valentine’s Day is next month)
Enjoy some much-needed self-care
- Cozy up by a roaring fire (indoors or out!)
- Cuddle up with a blanket, a cup of tea, and a good book
- Work on a challenging crossword, jigsaw puzzle, or word game
Reconnect with loved ones
- Enjoy a living room picnic
- Host a movie marathon of all your favorites
- Write a love letter, a thank you card, or a note of encouragement

- Take an online cooking class
- Start planting indoors
- Host a virtual book club
