Celebrate Gratitude Month
Sleep better, lower your stress levels, exercise more often, and eat healthier. How? Gratitude. During November when thankfulness is the theme, appreciate the little things. Watch how it changes your outlook, even in tense moments, and your relationships.
Ways to Celebrate Gratitude Month
- Gratitude Walk – While taking a stroll, notice the things you see and appreciate. Walk alone or with a friend, co-worker, or family member.
- Gratitude Meditation – Spend a few minutes every day visualizing all the things in your life you’re grateful for.
- Gratitude Rock – Provide stones that say “Gratitude” or ask employees to find a stone they like and keep it in sight. Whenever they see it or touch it, pause to think about something they’re grateful for.
- Weekly Gratitude Challenge #ThankfulTuesday – Every Tuesday write a Yammer post or use post-its on a whiteboard or wall in break rooms in the plants.
- Nov 7 – I’m grateful for my family because … Or post a picture of something you’re grateful for on the WellWithin Yammer Page.
- Nov 14 – Why are you grateful to work at GE Appliances? Yesterday was World Kindness Day, what was the kindest thing you noticed?
- Nov 21 – What happened this week/month/year that you are most grateful for?
- Nov 29 –Send a coworker(s) a note of appreciation. Tomorrow is Electronic Greeting Card today.
- Gratitude Journal – Pick up a WellWithin Gratitude Journal at Appliance Park. They will be available first come, first serve at the Y @ Work and the CareATC Wellness Center. Spend five minutes a day writing something you’re grateful for
