Musculoskeletal Health – Keep Moving, Stay Strong

As part of our ongoing commitment to employee wellness, our August health focus will be Musculoskeletal Health

As part of our ongoing commitment to employee wellness, our August health focus will be Musculoskeletal Health — supporting the muscles, bones, joints, and connective tissues that keep us moving and feeling our best every day.

Many common issues such as back pain, neck strain, joint discomfort, repetitive motion injuries, and poor posture can impact both work performance and overall quality of life. Taking proactive steps now can help prevent long-term problems and improve daily comfort and mobility.

Throughout the month, we encourage everyone to:

  • Practice good posture and ergonomic habits
  • Take regular stretch and movement breaks
  • Stay physically active – Join the Appliance Park Y @ Work or apply for the Fitness Reimbursement
  • Address aches and pains early before they worsen
  • Be sure to move your body every 90-120 minutes, especially if you are sitting down for long durations during the day

We also want to remind employees to take advantage of our on-site CareATC clinic. The clinic is available to support your health needs and can assist with:

  • Musculoskeletal assessments
  • Treatment recommendations
  • Virtual Physical Therapy
  • Minor injury care
  • Wellness guidance
  • Referrals when needed

If you are experiencing discomfort, pain, or mobility concerns, don’t wait — schedule a visit with the clinic team. Early intervention can make a significant difference.

Thank you for prioritizing your health and wellness. Let’s work together to stay strong, healthy, and moving well this August! If your injury is work-related, please follow up with the Occupational Health Clinic.
