Real Talk: Finding work/life balance with 4 daughters

Meet Kayla Eagler, a production new hire ambassador at Appliance Park. As a mom to four daughters (ages 8 to 15), Kayla knows all about the juggling act between work and home.

“I’m constantly switching gears—trying to stay focused at work while being the steady support my girls need,” Kayla shares. Having navigated a difficult domestic relationship in the past and watching her own mom face similar hurdles, she learned firsthand the value of strength, resilience, and self-awareness. “Those experiences really shaped who I am and made me much more intentional about the environment I’m creating for my girls and myself.”

Here are two key lessons Kayla swears by:

  • Give yourself permission to ask for help: “What gets me through the tough days is givingmyselfgrace and remembering I don’t have to do it all alone. Asking for support, setting boundaries, and taking things one step at a time make a world of difference.”
  • Protect your peace with clear boundaries: Setting healthy boundaries gives you the breathing room to look after your mental health—which naturally lifts your job satisfaction, team morale, and overall well-being. Plus, leaving work at work helps your kids feel truly seen and prioritized at home. As Kayla puts it, “Showing my girls what resilience, self-respect, and balance look like is one of the most important gifts I can give them.”
